Warren Knocker is the senior educator and owner of Drum Nation. With having logged thousands of teaching hours,  Warren considers himself an expert in the drumming field and is close to fulfilling his 10 000 hours and becoming a master teacher. On top of teaching, Warren is a session musician, and has played with many Local and international acts. Warren studied through Rockschool and got his Grade 8, Level 4 Performance Diploma and Level 6 Licentiate. Warren achieved his Bachelors in Applied Social Sciences, to better understand the psychology of teaching, transference of information, and playing the drums. Warren is a specialist in all things’ drums, is always willing to lend out a helping hand and is known for his teachings in drumming technique and performance training.

Keagyn was one of our earliest students at Drum Nation. Through his impeccable drive and consistency, he has gone from student to teacher. Keagyn is currently a professional drummer, teacher, and designer. With 10 years’ worth of playing experience on the drums Keagyn has been afforded the opportunities to play with acts such as: First Project, Drum Bots, Basement 8, Jordan Aerts and Richard Kladenburg. Over and above teaching and playing the drums, Keagyn has achieved his degree in Architecture and applies his skills from that discipline to the discipline of drumming.

Eric is a professional session musician and recording artist. When Eric is not making music, he is teaching music, and loves passing knowledge onto the next generation. Eric has played for SAMA (South African Music Awards), award winning artists and as well as with a SAMA award winning choir. Eric has achieved his N5 & N6 certificates in popular music performance and studio work, at the Central Johannesburg College. Eric also holds the Drum Nation post at Trinity House College (One of Drum Nations affiliate schools) and is adored by all those who take lessons there. Eric is a machine of a player, specializing in chops and polyrhythmic rhythms. 

Lesedi is known as the drummer with the "pedigree" background. Lesedi spent his whole childhood and adolescence growing up in music schools. He has only been taught by the best of the best. Lesedi was awarded a scholarship at the age of 12 to the Morris Isaacson Center For Music (MICM). In MICM, Lesedi was trained by Herman Roselee, a prominent drum figure in SA. When Warren Knocker took over the drum department at MICM from Herman, Lesedi then began his journey under Warren's mentorship and Warren took him through his Rockschool Grades and finessed his techniques. Lesedi was also accepted into The National School of Arts for drums, where he competed his secondary education. In his time at NSA he also studied under the great Larry Rose. Lesedi is currently a teacher at Drum Nation and is a student, studying performance in music. 

Stiaan is a professional musician and guitarist. He’s played in many bands including Them Dirty Shrikes, Skinnee Sunrise, Evert Snyman & The Aviary and more recently Brogan the Band. He’s been playing guitar for 16 years and has been teaching for over 10 years. Stiaan has played at South Africa’s premiere Rock Music festival, Oppikoppi, twice with his bands Skinnee Sunrise(2017) and Them Dirty Shrikes(2018) and has also played at many other festivals including Misty Waters and That 70’s Fest. His band Them Dirty Shrikes has also been nominated for best single at the South African Metal Music Awards(2020) for their song ‘November’. Stiaan is currently part of the teaching staff at Drum Nation and is also teaching at De La Salle Holy Cross College, he also teaches a few private students.
